QCM | CIFF Shanghai 2026

QCM at CIFF Shanghai 2026

  • QCM successfully participated in CIFF Shanghai 2026, held from September 5–8 in Shanghai. The exhibition attracted a large number of woodworking manufacturers, distributors and industry professionals, with strong interest in intelligent and automated solid wood production.
  • With 57 years of experience in solid wood machinery manufacturing, QCM presented several of its latest solutions, focusing on intelligent wood optimization and high-efficiency solid wood processing.

Longitudinal & Cross-Cut Optimizing Saw Solutions

  • One of the main highlights of the exhibition was QCM’s intelligent optimizing saw technology, including both longitudinal optimizing saw and cross-cut optimizing saw systems.
  • The longitudinal optimizing saw is designed for intelligent ripping and material yield optimization, while the cross-cut optimizing saw combines scanning, defect recognition and automatic cutting optimization.
  • These systems are developed for solid wood manufacturers looking to achieve higher material recovery, faster production, reduced labor and more consistent quality, especially when processing valuable hardwoods such as walnut, oak, maple and other solid wood materials.
  • QCM has extensive experience in longitudinal and cross-cut optimization and can also integrate scanning, feeding, sorting, stacking and other automation systems into complete production lines.

CNC Machining Centers & Four-Side Moulders

  • QCM also presented CNC machining centers designed for complex solid wood components, including parts used in chairs, tables, furniture frames and other shaped or multi-surface wooden structures.
  • Several different four-side moulders were displayed at the exhibition, covering different production requirements and processing capacities, including the new 718 Series 7-Spindle Four-Side Moulder.
  • These machines are designed for efficient and precise solid wood processing and can be used for furniture components, flooring, doors, mouldings and many other applications.
  • The strong visitor traffic and discussions during the exhibition reflected the growing demand for intelligent, high-efficiency and automated solid wood manufacturing solutions.
