About Us
HC WoodTech is a woodworking machinery solutions provider focused on solid wood and panel processing. We deliver integrated equipment and production line systems for furniture factories, door manufacturers, architectural wood producers, prefabricated housing components, pallet production, and engineered wood applications, helping customers improve automation, efficiency, and overall production performance.
Technical Roots
Our founder, Jianwei Li, began his career in 1980 as an apprentice electrician in Qingdao’s heavy industrial machinery sector. By 1990, the factory where he worked had produced its first sanding machine, giving him early hands-on experience in China’s woodworking machinery industry. Through both technical service and marketing work, he developed a deep understanding of customer needs, reliable service, and practical production solutions — the foundation for starting his own business in the early 2000s.
Our Start in Heze
In the early 2000s, we launched our first company on Furniture Industry Avenue in Heze, one of the earliest and most important panel and furniture manufacturing hubs in northern China. Starting from this industrial heartland, we spent three years building a strong reputation and creating a local success story in the region.
Expansion to Qingdao
A few years later, we returned to our hometown of Qingdao and began developing the business there. From Qingdao, HC WoodTech gradually expanded its service network across Shandong Province, growing from a regional machinery service company into a broader woodworking machinery solutions provider serving more customers, industries, and production needs.
Regional Growth
Around 2008, during the global financial crisis, HC WoodTech made a strategic decision to focus on the distribution and service of two leading woodworking machinery brands in China. This helped us serve more customers across Shandong Province, one of northern China’s key woodworking machinery markets. By 2014, annual sales had reached RMB 70 million, approximately USD 10 million at the time, reflecting our steady growth and the trust built through reliable equipment, technical service, and long-term customer support.

Founded in 2002, HC WoodTech has since delivered solutions for 1,200+ factory projects and is supported by 40+ engineers dedicated to installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support. Today, we continue to combine technical know-how, customer-oriented service, and long-term industry experience to help manufacturers build stronger, smarter, and more efficient production capabilities.
