H20 / H16 Beam Double-End Processing Machine

Product Details

Highlights

The H20 / H16 Beam End Processing Machine is designed for automatic end finishing of engineered timber beams after assembly. With the left machining head fixed and the right head servo-adjustable, the machine completes double-end length sizing, cross cutting, bevel cutting, drilling and grooving in one continuous process. Servo-driven feeding, secondary drilling positioning and automatic infeed/outfeed provide stable and repeatable processing for H20 and H16 beam production, while adjustable drilling positions allow different end-hole configurations to be produced according to beam specifications.

  • Processing length: 1500–6000 mm
  • Working width: 160–200 mm
  • Working thickness: 80–120 mm
  • Rated capacity: Up to 2 beams/min
  • Cross-cut spindle speed: 2800 r/min
  • Milling spindle speed: 8000 r/min
  • Drilling spindle speed: Up to 18,000 r/min

Working mode

  1. Automatic beam infeed
Servo-driven chain conveyors automatically feed the assembled H20 or H16 beam into the processing station.
  2. Servo length positioning
The left machining head remains fixed while the right head automatically moves to the programmed beam length.
  3. Double-end sizing and cutting
Both ends are processed simultaneously to establish the final beam length and accurate end reference surfaces.
  4. Beveling, grooving and drilling
Dedicated saws, milling cutters and drilling units complete bevel cuts, end grooves and mounting holes according to the selected beam specification.
  5. Automatic discharge
After machining, the finished beam is automatically transferred out of the station for the next production process.

Features

  • Fixed-left / servo-adjustable-right configuration allows fast automatic adjustment for different beam lengths.
  • Servo-driven chain feeding provides stable reciprocating material transport and accurate secondary positioning for drilling.
  • Multiple machining units integrate cross cutting, bevel sawing, bevel milling, end milling, drilling and grooving in one machine.
  • Drilling units use ball-screw transmission, servo motors and reducers for fast response and consistent positioning accuracy.
  • Automatic pneumatic and conveyor-based infeed/outfeed allows the machine to be integrated directly into an H20/H16 automated beam production line.
