Product Details

Highlights

The MJ3971CX150 Horizontal Band Saw is specifically designed for resawing rubberwood into thin boards before edge-gluing and panel production. The machine combines a 15 kW main saw motor, Ø711 mm saw wheels and hydraulic variable-speed feeding up to 18 m/min for efficient continuous cutting. Its narrow kerf and smooth cutting surface help improve material recovery, while intelligent thickness positioning and digital thickness setting provide quick and repeatable adjustment. Surpass states that, compared with traditional vertical band sawing, the system can reduce cutting allowance and may eliminate a subsequent thickness-planing process in suitable applications.

  • Maximum working size: 150 × 300 mm
  • Blade-to-worktable distance: 3–200 mm
  • Main saw motor: 15 kW
  • Saw wheel diameter: Ø711 mm
  • Feed speed: 0–18 m/min
  • Saw kerf: 1.2–2.2 mm
  • Conveyor belt width: 135 mm
