Highlights
The L100 Automatic Lumber Stacker is designed for automatic layer forming and stacking of dimensional lumber, wood strips and regularly shaped solid wood components. The system uses three stacking stations to receive incoming workpieces, organize them into complete layers and transfer each finished layer onto the stack. Servo-controlled feeding allows adjustable positioning for different product lengths and production requirements, while programmable control supports flexible layer and bundle settings. The system can reach up to approximately 20 picks per minute, with layer-forming cycles as fast as approximately 15 seconds per layer, depending on workpiece size, feeding conditions and stack pattern. The minimum reference working length is 1100 mm, converted from the original 56-inch specification. Electrical, PLC and pneumatic configurations can be adapted for different markets, including 230 V, 380 V and 460 V three-phase power, with Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric and Festo components available according to project requirements.
