The MJ255A AI Vision Optimizing Cross-Cut Saw System combines the MJ255 NC quick cross-cut saw with the QEC504A high-end transverse vision scanner. The scanner automatically measures each board, identifies visible wood defects, grades the material and calculates an optimized transverse cutting path. The MJ255 then completes fast and accurate automatic cross-cutting according to the generated cutting plan.

The system is designed for finger-joint material preparation, glulam production, solid wood component cutting and automated production lines requiring defect removal, length optimization, grading and sorting. It can also be connected with four-side moulders and downstream sorting equipment.
