Highlights
The MU-DM54 Dual-Channel Four-Head Five-Axis Machining Center is designed to process up to four workpieces simultaneously. Its dual-channel CNC architecture separates the machine into independent left and right working areas, allowing both sides to machine identical components or different components at the same time.
The machine is equipped with four manual-tool-change electrospindles for mounting saw blades, milling cutters, drills and ball-nose cutters. Dual X, Y and Z axes together with four A axes and four C axes provide coordinated multi-axis machining. Tool Center Point (TCP) control compensates for changes in tool length by entering the new tool value without requiring the machining program to be rewritten.
