About Us

HC WoodTech  is a woodworking machinery solutions provider focused on solid wood and panel processing, delivering integrated equipment and production line systems for furniture factories, door manufacturers, architectural wood producers, prefabricated wall and housing systems, wood pallet production, and I-joist & beam component manufacturing, helping customers improve automation, efficiency, and overall production performance.

Our founder, Jianwei Li, began his career in 1980 as an apprentice electrician in Qingdao’s heavy industrial machinery sector. By 1990, the factory where he worked had produced its first sanding machine, giving him early hands-on experience in the development of China’s woodworking machinery industry. After more than two decades of experience, he started his own business in the early 2000s.

Around 2008, as many factories faced serious pressure during the global financial crisis, HC WoodTech made a strategic decision to focus on the distribution and service of two leading woodworking machinery brands in China, serving customers across Shandong Province, one of the key woodworking markets in northern China.

This strategy drove strong growth. In 2014, annual sales reached RMB 70 million (approximately USD 10 million at the time). Founded in 2002, HC WoodTech has since delivered solutions for 1,200+ factory projects and is supported by 40+ engineers dedicated to installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support.
